Christella Mata-Hartshorn LPCC

Working with at-risk youth for over 15 years Christella has experience. She currently works as a therapist and behavioral consultant (BSC) with the Developmental Disability Waiver, in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho area. With two service locations in NM, one near UNM university and the other in Rio Rancho. Her area of expertise are individuals over age 14, couples and families, who struggle specifically with trauma. A bilingual therapist, Spanish and English, Christella is a professional licensed clinical counselor in New Mexico with telehealth capabilities. She can work with anyone in the state of New Mexico that has access to a computer, tablet or phone. A wife and a mother of 4 children who finds balance in her life.  The current goal is running an adventure-based counseling program for at-risk youth. She treats trauma and addictions using EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other techniques to help her clients live a calmer and more fulfilling lives.
